Pulse Wholefoods is a long-established wholefood shop based in the Pontcanna area of Cardiff. The shop was opened in the 1970s and has served the local and wider community ever since. The current owners (we feel more like custodians!) are ethical vegans whose aim is to maintain and enhance the Pulse commitment to supply ethically sourced wholefoods.
Pulse Wholefoods offers a wide range of organic fruit, vegetables, cruelty free and environmentally friendly cleaning products, organic wines & beers, and wholefoods. Pulse specialises in products suitable for people requiring wheat/gluten free, sugar, dairy, GM free, macrobiotic, vegan & organic foods.
We obtain our products locally and from all over the world, often from small, uniquely dedicated food producers. We strive to offer the highest quality, least processed, most flavourful and naturally preserved foods.
Why? Because food in its purest state – unadulterated by artificial additives, sweeteners, colourings and preservatives – is the best tasting and most nutritious food available.
pulse is open from 9 am until 6 pm monday to saturday – closed sundays and bank holidays. Our online shop is open 24 hours a day.
