SEROTONE - 5HTP

The natural amino acid called 5HTP is the precursor used by the body to make the neurotransmitter Serotonin. Serotonin plays a role in sleep, mood and metabolism. Best taken before bed. Available in 50mg and 100mg size capsules. Not advisable if pregnant or taking fenfluramine. Care should also be taken if being prescribed SSRIs.

Suggested intake:

50mg capsule: Take 1-2 capsules a day.

100mg capsule: Take 1 capsule a day.

One 50mg capsule typically provides: 

50mg 5HTP, 5mg Vitamin B6, 2.5mg Zinc, 25µg Biotin, 50µg Folic acid, 15mg Niacin.

One 100mg capsule typically provides:

100mg 5HTP, 10mg Vitamin B6, 5mg Zinc, 50µg Biotin, 100µg Folic acid, 30mg Niacin.

No added:

Sugar, salt, wheat, gluten, maize/corn, yeast, lactose, dairy products, artificial preservatives, colours or flavourings.
